Eleanor’s Off to School Photo Session

I can’t believe it but my little Eleanor is heading off to school (preschool) next week.  I know it sounds cliche but two and a half years has gone by in a blink of an eye.  It is truly bittersweet.  I can’t believe that she is old enough for school but I am SO excited for her.  She loves other kids and loves any sort of activity – arts and crafts, the playground, dancing – anything!

I had these grand plans for her “off to school” session but the moment kind of presented itself and I grabbed my camera and we headed to the backyard.  Photographing your own children is HARD and anytime Eleanor is interested and excited to be photographed I seize the moment!  Disclaimer: she doesn’t wear glasses but she had found an old pair of mine and was wearing them around the house.  She kept asking me to take her picture in them so we went outside and set up this little shoot!  She is such a ham and I feel like these totally reflect her silly little (big) personality!

Off to school she goes!
