Cleveland Fall Mini Sessions

It’s hard to believe that we have been living in Charlotte for almost six years.  While we absolutely love living in Charlotte, there are parts of Cleveland that we do miss.  The thing we miss the most is the people, including our family and friends.  I met Jen about seven (wow) years ago when we sat next to each other at our job at an investment firm.  Through the beauty of facebook, we’ve kept in touch and I feel like I’ve gotten to know her adorable twin girls through her posts.  I was so excited to offer Cleveland Fall Mini Sessions this year and was thrilled that this family was the first to sign up!

One of the gems of Cleveland is the Metroparks, an extensive system of nature preserves spread out across greater Cleveland.  The fall color was starting to peak through and we found this stunning rocky beach along the creek.  The gorgeous setting only enhanced what is already such a beautiful family.

Jen was hoping to have just one picture of the girls smiling together and I think we succeeded.  This is one of the happiest toddler galleries I have ever seen!  We pretended that the rocks were cookies and let them have fun in the grass.  I love that the pictures show that they are having fun.  You can see that the twins share a very special bond and that they are so loved by their parents.

As a photographer, I grow pretty attached to my client’s photos.  This is especially true when my clients are also my friends.  I truly fell in love with these photos and found myself editing with a lump in my throat because I knew these would mean so much to Jen and Matt.

Overall we had a wonderful trip to Cleveland and we are hoping to make it an annual fall trip.  Naturally, this means that I will also be offering Cleveland Fall Mini Sessions every year!
