Three Month Photo Session

I can’t believe it’s time to reveal Isabella’s three month photo session!  If you’ve been following along on my blog or Facebook page, you might remember her parents’ amazing cotton field maternity session or their lifestyle newborn session.  One of my favorite things about a three month photo session is getting to see just how much they have changed in just a short amount of time.  A lot of times I don’t even get to see a newborn’s eyes the entire session!

I feel so privileged to be able to watch Isabella grow in front of my camera.  This little lady is so loved by her amazing parents.  As a parent of two little girls myself, I was amazed to see how strong (and different) their personalities were from the very beginning.  Observing these mighty little personalities in my clients is one of the nice perks of my job.  I feel like Isabella was ready to take on the world as soon as she arrived!  She wasn’t such a fan of sleeping during her newborn session – I don’t think she wanted to miss anything.  Not surprisingly, she was so alert and made great eye contact during her three month photo session.  I just talked to her mom in preparation for her six month session (I am behind on my blogging) and it sounds like Isabella is getting ready to crawl already!  

Personally, I am a fan of simple setups for three month photo sessions because I don’t want a busy background to distract from the babies.  Emily brought the cutest little white onesie for Isabella – just the right amount of ruffles to be girly but not to many!  And check out those amazing little shoes!  The pink chevron blanket Emily brought was perfect and I was happy to incorporate it.
