Six Month Session
Six month sessions are some of my favorite! The babies are generally very happy, smile easily and enjoy seeing the world from an upright position. Little Evan was no exception. In fact, I think it is one of my favorite six month old sessions ever!
I don’t think Evan made a peep during the session except to giggle. He has the cutest chubby cheeks and gorgeous big brown eyes. Personally, I think he could easily model for Gerber or The Gap.
His mom brought several outfits for him and he happily modeled them for us. My favorite outfit was the sweater set. He looked like he was ready to lounge on a sailboat with his bottle in hand.
A lot of parents ask what they should bring for six month sessions. I generally recommend bringing anything that is special to you or your little one. Evan’s mom brought the soft blue and brown blanket and light blue towel with his name embroidered on it. He thought having the towel on his head was so funny!
The next question I often get ahead of baby sessions is “what should they wear”? While I already mentioned that I love his sailor outfit, I personally prefer simple white onesies or even just a diaper. Those adorable baby rolls will be gone before you know it so this is a perfect time to show them off! The picture below of Evan sitting up in his white onesie has to be one of my favorite pictures ever. Between his curious expression and his perfectly placed little toes and hands, it is such a beautiful and timeless photograph. His parents must have agreed because they ordered a 20×30 print of it! My 2014 resolution is to have you print your photos!!
Enjoy!
