Father’s Day Photos
This post is a day late but I wanted to wish all the great dads and future daddy’s out there a Happy Father’s Day! You might recall that one of my new year’s resolutions in 2014 was to get in front of the camera but this also goes for dads too! If your husband or dad is anything like my husband, he really really dislikes having his picture taken. I am so glad that I’ve had so many willing dads come along to the photo sessions over the past year. It’s so important that your kids have photos of themselves with their parents in them – and not just iPhone selfies!
Personally, I am so grateful for my dad who has always been my biggest supporter and a great role model. I have so many great childhood memories of playing in the backyard or of him coaching my childhood sports teams. I am so glad that we live close enough to my parents that my girls can see their “Papa” frequently. I know they have already made some great memories with him. The girls and I are so lucky to have him!
Before we had kids, I knew that Jesse would be a great dad but I underestimated how awesome he would truly be. He is definitely the “favorite and fun” parent (seems totally unfair) but they laugh for daddy like no one else! He has always been a hands on dad and helps me out more often than I give him credit for. I think being a dad was something he was truly born to do.
Here’s a snapshot below of some of my favorite photos with dads. It was so hard to narrow it down to these smiling dads.
To all of the dads and dads to be, Happy Father’s Day!
