Family Photos
Family photos are some of my most treasured items. This is true of the photos of me, Jesse and the girls, family photos from my childhood and even photos from before my time. I view them as a window to the past and a chance to relive or feel what life was like at that time. As a photographer, I feel privileged to document these “moments” for clients and create something they and generations after them will treasure forever. Even though this session was only a spring mini session, I feel like the family photos in this gallery represent an accurate glimpse into the Warlick family.
We are lucky enough to live in the same fabulous neighborhood as the Warlicks and even luckier to call them friends. My younger daughter Meredith is only three months older than Elsie and it is exciting to think that they will get to grow up together. They are as kind and sweet as these pictures illustrate. Elsie is one lucky little girl to have such loving parents that adore her so much.
Since I know Elsie, it didn’t take her long to warm up to the camera. I love that she is such a curious little girl. She loved exploring the bridge in Latta Park and picking the flowers off of the dogwood trees. She has the sweetest little face and captivating little eyes. She is an active little girl and part of the reason this gallery has such a wide variety of beautiful family photos.
I always aim to give clients a beautiful picture with everyone looking and smiling at the camera but what I really love is when I capture those “in between” moments. My hope is that anyone who sees these family photos or reads this blog post, knows just how happy and loving this family is and how lucky I am to photograph them.
Enjoy!
