Lifestyle Newborn Photography Session

One of the best things about my job is getting to meet wonderful families like this one.  They recently welcomed their first daughter…isn’t she so cute?!  Charlie was nearly a month old when they called so instead of scheduling a traditional newborn session in my studio we agreed a lifestyle newborn photography session would better suit their needs.  I LOVE lifestyle sessions!  I find it easier to capture those “in between moments” when the session is more relaxed and clients are in the comfort of their own home.  I feel like I captured so many “moments” for the Flynn’s it was hard to narrow down the photos…

Mike and Lindsay were two of the most relaxed first time parents I have ever met!  They didn’t even look like they had lost any sleep.  When my girls were a month old I felt like a zombie!  Charlie was a fantastic little baby and even fell sound asleep once we took her outside in the warm humid air.  I just love how simple and natural the photos of her in the basket look.

Charlie’s grandmother made her the beautiful gown trimmed with pearls.  Even though she wasn’t a huge fan of putting on the gown I am so glad we were able to get some special photos of her in it.  I think she is even smiling in one of them!
