Ever since opening my Charlotte Newborn Photography Studio, I have been finding myself using more and more creams and neutral colors.  I love layering different textures and colors to find just the right balance. In my studio I have two closets full of some of the best swaddle blankets, rugs and layering pieces. I have scoured local fabric stores, easy shops and vendors that create products specifically for newborn photography studios.  Some of my favorites come from Luneberry. They have such a great selection and wonderful customer service. *This is not a sponsored post, I just really love their products. *Each time I use these pieces with my newborns, it brings a smile to my face.  It’s hard to find a session where I haven’t used a piece from them.

This sweet family visited my Charlotte Newborn Photography Studio recently and I had the best time photographing their baby girl in some of my favorite neutrals. I used a few soft grays, creams and very light blushes. Being able to add beautiful neutral pieces, such a headbands and knit bonnets added an extra special touch to these images.

Their precious little girl was such a great baby!  She let us swaddle, un-swaddle, and change swaddles- a few times 🙂 without a peep! She even opened her eyes for a few shots. I can’t get over her beautiful, dark blue eyes.  I do think being photogenic runs in the family as this adorable family was so easy to work with and I just love the way their newborn pictures turned out.  You can tell they love their newest addition to pieces.
